Typefully is a focused writing and scheduling app for X, LinkedIn, Threads, Bluesky, Mastodon and Instagram, with an API, an MCP server and a Claude connector. Typefully in brief
Typefully is where many X writers draft. Its changelog reads like a writer's tool: reply controls, polls, quote posts, a Writing Assistant that edits drafts and a team calendar with planned posts.
It is also unusually friendly to automation, with a documented API v2 and an official Claude connector. That makes it a good fit if your pipeline starts in an AI agent and ends in a post.
What we could not do is read its prices. The pricing page returned no plan data to us, so treat any figure you see quoted elsewhere as unconfirmed. Whatever the price, the product stays text-centred: no listed inbox, review handling or video editing. If your content is footage and your day includes replies, AutoPoster AI covers more of it.

Recent releases add reply controls on X, polls on LinkedIn, Threads and Mastodon, quote posts on Bluesky and Mastodon, and Substack Notes videos. Network-specific detail like this is its strength.
Public API and agent tooling
API v2 handles drafts, media, tags and webhooks across five networks, and Typefully is an official Claude connector. Ours starts on Professional and is less documented for webhooks.
Free plan with polls and drafts
The changelog confirms a Free plan, and polls work on it. We could not confirm its limits, but it lets you try the editor before paying.
