Suno in brief
Suno is a music-first product. Its homepage lists a v6 model, stems, uploads and a Studio editor, and the pricing page shows $8 and $24 monthly plans. The pricing page does not state annual prices; we derived $6 and $18 from its stated yearly savings, and its toggle says 20% where those savings work out to 25%. Treat those two as approximate.
The company has also been reshaped by label deals. A Music Week report on the Warner agreement says downloads will need a paid account, with monthly caps. Sony had not settled with Suno as of the latest reports we found.

How to switch from Suno

Download what you need while you are subscribed. Free songs cannot be downloaded at all, and paid plans cap downloads each month.

Subscription credits do not carry over, and purchased top-up credits need an active subscription, so use them before you cancel.

Keep a record of which plan each song was made under. Ownership depends on it: free-plan songs are Suno's and limited to non-commercial use.

- Is Suno free?
There is a free plan with 50 credits a day, but songs from it are non-commercial and cannot be downloaded. Pro is $8 monthly and Premier $24.
- What changed for Suno in 2026?
After Suno's Warner Music settlement, announced in November 2025, downloads were set to require a paid account. One September 2026 report says licensed models have launched; we found no second source.
- Can I use Suno songs commercially?
Pro and Premier come with commercial rights, per Suno's help article. The article also warns AI-only music may not qualify for copyright.
- Is AutoPoster AI's music as good as Suno's?
Not for full songs. If music quality is the point, use Suno. We make sense for tracks behind social video.
